Since 2022, Stephan Jürgens has co-produced public presentations of student work in partnership with libraries and museums in Lisbon, programmed and produced by Miguel Cruz. The core of this work is the annual Espetáculo Sem Atores series at the Biblioteca de Marvila, where second-year Production students of the BA in Theatre at ESTC/IPL bring the technical and artistic skills acquired at the school into a professional working context, alongside the auditorium's own technical team and before its audience. Each venue sets its own terms: an adaptable stage at the Biblioteca de Marvila, together with other spaces in the building that have hosted light installations and video projections; a large cinema auditorium at the Museu Nacional dos Coches; the Galeria Capelo Norte at the MNAC. Producing across these conditions — collaborating with the host institution, adjusting technical and temporal arrangements — is the substance of the role. In the Espetáculo Sem Atores series and at the Museu Nacional dos Coches, the students created their pieces under the artistic direction of Miguel Cruz and Stephan Jürgens, and are credited as their authors. Stephan Jürgens has also photographed every production; an exhibition drawn from this archive is in preparation for 2027.

Occupying the library auditorium, the students presented a performance-installation in six moments that invited the audience into a world governed by digital platforms, working with Isadora, TouchDesigner and Reaper around the body's data and the unconscious consent that surrenders it.

Conceived and produced by the second-year students of the Production branch, BA in Theatre, ESTC/IPL, under the direction of Miguel Cruz and Stephan Jürgens. Co-production: Stephan Jürgens. Presented at the Auditório da Biblioteca de Marvila under the school's protocol with the library.
